O`phi`oph´a`gus
n.1(Zool.) A genus of venomous East Indian snakes, which feed on other snakes. Ophiophagus elaps is said to be the largest and most deadly of poisonous snakes.

Ophiophagus, literally means “snake-eater”, and its diet primarily consists of other snakes, including seizable pythons and even smaller members of its own species.
