Mobile photography

It has been years since my blog is up and running with no contribution from me. Google also seemed to have stop indexing :-). Anyway, the long weekend was nicely spent upgrading the WordPress version to the latest along with other dependencies. A minor tweaks to the old contents and a change of theme, the blog gets a new look and feel. Since it had been years, so why not start afresh again.

Post all the upgrades, I was taking a evening walk with my colleague Mr. Ravi Kumar Boyapati near to our residence. It had rained that afternoon and the weather was very pleasant. As the area is mostly covered in green, one can see the mist on the roads. We were discussing many things and one of the topics was photography. I had no idea about photography except to take pictures with default settings on my mobile camera, but Ravi is a pro. He has an enormous collection of various pictures and he is the go to person for all our campus activities. So he informed me some basic things about photography.

  1. Hands should be steady to have a good picture
  2. ISO settings to be low in case of day light
  3. Exposure to be adjusted on the photo you want to take

After having some basics, tried in a couple of photographs with my Redmi 8A Dual. I did feel a difference as you revisit the pics every time.

Exposure time: 1/8 sec
Aperture Value: f/2.2
ISO: 3200
